Dil Chahta Hai, which has become a well-known movie, was the first offering by Farhan Akhtar as a director. The film remained a big hit and stand out in the crowd. The movie stays in our mind as it’s so simple to be connected with almost every facet of it. Check out some life lessons that we learnt from the Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Akshay Khanna starrer –
#Enjoy road trips before it’s too late –
The movie introduced Bollywood and us to the conception of road tours where you start an exploratory spot with your dearest friends and fetch the most memorable memories. Sid, Akash and Sameer’s road tour to Goa made us wish to take our bags and start a special trip!
#Age is just a figure
In the movie, Akshay’s role Sid falls for a much older woman, Tara (donned by Dimple Kapadia.) Whilst the two never have a meeting, their love is true and Tara’s demise leaves Sid bereft in the beginning, but he finds himself to turn out to be a more evolved person after meeting Tara.
#Best pals are forever even if you meet after years
Towards the conclusion of the movie Akash and Sid join hands with Sameer’s assistance at the hospital where Tara is dropping dead (Sid’s love for her had been the cause of a rift between him and Akash.) Their companionship bears proof to the truth that when you have a best friend forever, they are with you in your most horrible times and support you through thick and thin in spite of any dissimilarity you might have with them.
#Getting into love and broken heart is worth it
Whilst Sid’s affection for Tara is unanswered, it is the most special connection of his life which confirms that even if love gets lost, it’s reminiscence must be treasured. Akash and Sameer also get in love and their hearts get broken but when they are united with their much-loved ones it is all worth the pain!
#There is no such thing like love at first glance!
None of the 3 main roles falls in love instantaneously (excepting Sameer who believes that each and every female he meets and dates is “the one”)
