Actor Ranbir Kapoor’s dad Rishi Kapoor wishes him to get settled down now. In an interview to media people, the 65-year-old veteran star stated that he wishes to see his son married now.
Rishi Kapoor added, “It is high time he got married. I settled down when I was 27, Ranbir is 35. So he should think about marriage. He can marry anyone of his choice; we don’t have any objection to it. I want to spend time with my grandchildren before I am gone,” Rishi Kapoor told mid-day. Rishi Kapoor also said that because of his professional commitments, Ranbir doesn’t socialize much. “[Be it] Ranbir or his contemporaries, actors have blinkers on and are focused on their work. The only women they meet are the actresses. They don’t socialise as much; that is the flipside of life in the movies.”
Rishi Kapoor added that Ranbir always tries to ignore talks regarding wedding when his mom Neetu Kapoor makes attempt to talk over the matter.
Rishi Kapoor said, “I haven’t been vocal about it, but my wife [Neetu Kapoor] keeps bringing it up with him and he just brushes the question away. Whenever he is ready for it, we will be happy. Our happiness lies in his happiness, after all.”
As per reports, Ranbir Kapoor is in a relationship with his Brahmastra co-actor Alia Bhatt.
Reports about Ranbir and Alia sharing a relationship started doing the rounds all over the social platform after they attended Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s reception bash during the month of May. They have also been seen together on a number of occasions and family outings.
Alia’s image while coming out of the eatery holding Ranbir Kapoor’s niece Samara’s hand had turned crazy viral.

Ranbir and Alia are presently in shooting in Bulgaria for Ayan Mukerji’s next Brahmastra. The movie also features Big B, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna. The initial part of the fantasy trilogy is likely to release during the month of August 2019.
