Salman Khan – Maine Pyar Kiya
While Salman enterted the Hindi film industry in Farooq Sheikh and Rekha starrer Biwi Ho Toh Aisi as a supporting actor, his entry as a lead actor was Maine Pyar Kiya. The romantic movie earned Rs 15 crore at the box office.
Aamir Khan – Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak
Mr Perfectionist of the Hindi film industry – Aamir Khan entered the film industry as a child performer with Yaadon Ki Baaraat. But the super star remained on top in picking the right screenplay from his first movie. Aamir’s first flick was Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak with well known actress Juhi Chawla turned out to be a huge sensation in the year 1988 and made Rs 4.70 crore at BO.
Ajay Devgn – Phool Aur Kaante
The super star of Hindi film industry – Ajay Devgn, who remained a versatile star all through his life, made a great debut with Phool Aur Kaante with the actress Madhoo. The enthralling commercial film made Ajay Devgn a star and earned Rs 6.60 crore at BO.
Akshay Kumar – Saugandh
The well known star and Bollywood Khiladi didn’t have a great entry in the Hindi film industry. Akki’s first project Saugandh, which had Rakhi and Mukesh Khanna remained an average earner with Rs 1.40 crore.
