International star Priyanka Chopra is now officially engaged to American singer Nick Jonas. According to an English Magazine, Nick had proposed Priyanka in London on her birthday last month. However, do you know, that Nick Jonas is not the first Hollywood celebrity who had proposed Priyanka.
Back in 2009, when Priyanka had not even entered Hollywood, a Hollywood actor named Gerad Buttler had proposed Priyanka not once or twice, but several times. Gerad is a Scottish actor, singer and producer who has made every girl go weak in knees. In 2009, he apparently came down to India and our Desi Girl hosted a party to welcome him at her residence in Mumbai. During the party, he tried several times to woo her, but each attempt failed.
A guest at the party told, “Of course the party was for Gerad who was completely besotted by Priyanka and kept proposing her every half hour while she would burst into laughter. She’s clearly not interested on being Mrs Butler.”
The story did not end here. In 2012, Gerad said that he is broken heart and he is still waiting for Priyanka Chopra. Well, we now wonder what would be his feelings after she got engaged to Nick.
Priyanka and Nick first met at Met Gala 2017 and soon they started dating each other. The news of the two dating surfaced the headlines in may this year when they were recently spotted hanging out each other. Priyanka went with Nick to attend his cousin’s wedding. Later, Nick came down to Mumbai to meet her mother Madhu Chopra. Their Instagram PDA also hinted towards their relationship.
After their trip to India, Priyanka also accompanied him to his concerts. However, neither of them spoke about it openly until their officially got engaged this month in Mumbai. Their Roka ceremony was followed by an engagement bash in Mumbai.
Currently, Priyanka is busy shooting a Bollywood film titled ‘The Sky Is Pink’ which also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim.
