Actress Pooja Banerjee has been bagging some good projects of late. Pooja has been seen in Balaji projects like Chandra-Nandni, Chandrakanta, Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai and Dil Hi Toh Hai. She will be seen next on Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2. It seems she will be playing the role of the sister of the male lead, which maybe Shamitabh actor Abhimanyu Chaudhary. It seems Pooja’s role is an important one and she will take the story forward. The new Kasauti is a contemporary tale of young lovers. The makers have roped in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi actress Erica Fernandes as the leading lady. She is thrilled to be playing the part of Prerna on the show. The promo was shot recently and has the same hue of black and red that we associate with the old one. The song has also got a thumbs up from everyone.
Interestingly, Pooja met up with the old Komolika aka actress Urvashi Dholakia a few days back. We don’t know if they were talking about Kasauti. The two ladies have worked together in Chandrakanta and share a warm bond. Buzz is Hina Khan is the new Komolika for the show. Ekta Kapoor stated a few days back that there can be only one Komolika, which is Urvashi. As per sources, even Poonam Narula Goel and Riva Babbar might be seen in Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2. In the midst of heightened speculation about the male lead, Ekta Kapoor stated that the actor would be under – 30 as it is a young love story in the age bracket of 24-27.
